/go links for small teams, without the IT project
Big companies get go/links from an internal platform team. SlashGo gives a five-person startup, a studio or one team inside a bigger company the same thing in an afternoon: free up to 10 people, then $5/mo flat for the whole team.
Built for teams without an IT department
The person who wants /go links is usually also the person who'd have to set them up and pay for them. SlashGo keeps both jobs small.
| No IT project | No DNS, no proxy, no server. Each teammate installs the Chrome or Firefox extension and go/ works in their address bar. Edge runs the Chrome build, and slashgo.io/go/name works in any browser, phones included. |
|---|---|
| One flat price | Priced per organization, never per seat. Free up to 10 people, then Pro at $5/mo or $48/yr for the whole team. Hiring doesn't change the bill. |
| Nothing breaks as you grow | Your 11th teammate joins like the first. Free-plan milestones are reminders, never limits: invites and links keep working. |
| Secure on every plan | Destination URLs are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM on Free too, and only signed-in teammates can open your links. |
| One link for every ticket | Variables: go/jira/$ sends go/jira/ENG-123 to ticket ENG-123. Included on Free. |
| /go links from Slack | /go name to open, /go create to add, /go share to post a link in the channel. On every plan. |
| Offboarding that follows Google Workspace | On Team, sign-in can be governed by your Google Workspace, so suspending someone in Google removes their SlashGo access. This is access governance, not SAML SSO. |
| An audit trail | On Team: an append-only log of every create, edit, delete and ownership change, with CSV export, plus reassigning a leaver's links in one move. |
Who uses /go links at this size
Founders
go/investors, go/metrics, go/hiring. Name the pages you keep pasting into chat, and your first hires inherit the map on day one.
Studios and agencies
go/brand, go/clients, go/timesheet. One name per board, brief or folder, whoever picks up the work.
One team in a bigger company
go/oncall, go/deploys, go/runbook. Run /go links for your team on a departmental card, without waiting for a company-wide rollout.
Up and running in an afternoon
Setup takes about five minutes. Getting the team to use it is the real work, so that part is built in.
1. Sign up
Create your organization with a work or personal email. Free never asks for a card.
2. Name the first links
Start with what people ask for: handbook, wifi, on-call, OKRs, deploys. Save any page from the extension with a right-click, or from Slack with
/go create.3. Share one start link
Your company's
slashgo.io/start/…link explains /go links to someone who's never seen one and gets them signed in, on any browser.
When SlashGo isn't the right fit
Better you find out here than after a rollout.
You need Safari
There's no Safari extension. Safari users can open slashgo.io/go/name, but typing go/name won't work there.
You need go/ without an extension
Typing go/name in the address bar needs the Chrome or Firefox extension. SlashGo doesn't run on your network or DNS.
You want public short links
SlashGo is for your team's own docs and tools. Only signed-in teammates can open a link, so it's the wrong tool for links on posters or in campaigns.
Common questions
If your team keeps asking "where's the link for…", yes. It's free up to 10 people, and an organization of one is a normal organization, so it's useful before you've hired anyone.
Nothing breaks. New teammates still join and every link keeps working. Owners and admins see a note suggesting Pro, which is $5/mo flat for unlimited teammates.
No. Each person installs the Chrome or Firefox extension in one click. If you have IT and they want to manage it, they can force-install the Chrome extension with Google Admin, Jamf or Intune. See the setup guide.
Yes. Teammates join by invite. If your company has its own email domain, you can let anyone signing up from it join automatically; personal domains like gmail.com never auto-join.
Start small, stay flat
Free for teams up to 10. When you want unlimited teammates and analytics history, Pro is $5/mo flat, with a 14-day free trial.
