Is it secure?
Destination URLs are encrypted at rest with AES-256 on every plan, Free included. Only signed-in teammates can open your links.
Does IT need to be involved?
No. If they want to be, they can force-install the Chrome extension with Google Admin, Jamf or Intune. Team adds an audit log and sign-in governed by your Google Workspace.
